I grew up watching Lauren Bacall, Katharine Hepburn, Ava Gardner and Grace Kelly dominate my small screen with a presence that was powerful that they didn't have to say a thing; and that stuck with me always. I think of those heroines when I pick my fragrances, I want a scent that lingers and is seductive; it speaks words I don't have to say. That being said, it not surprise I'm a woodsy/musky-scent type of girl. Euphoria by Calvin Klein, Donna Karan's (now defunct) Gold, and Tocca's Stella are all staples in my perfume wardrobe and I was so excited when I discovered a newbie that can't hang with the rest of them: Midnight Fleur by NEST Fragrances.

NEST is already responsible for providing me with most of  my favorite candles, so it was no surprise that they mastered a scent that has now become a staple for me.
Midnight Fleur has notes of Black Amber, Vanilla Orchid, Ylang Ylang, Rhubarb, Jasmine, Blue Cyclamen, Green Apple, Patchouli, Tonka Bean, Exotic Woods.  Just one spritz of it and it I was in love. I receive so many compliments when I wear it. It is not too strong that it can't be worn everyday and not too casual that it won't still make a statement for special occasions. I suggest you pop over to a Sephora to try this scent or one of their other scents which has my sister and mom hooked on as well.
